Cheat Codes:

Note: This editing step is only required in early versions of the game. Versions 2.3 and later should already have cheat mode ready to be used in single player mode. Also note that editing the file will not allow you to use cheats on player operated servers; only the operators can activate them, at which point they will be activated for all players who join that server. No file editing is necessary. For all other versions, this procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the
"armyops.ini" file in the "system" folder in the game directory. Add the following
line under the "[Engine.GameEngine]" heading to enable cheat mode.
bMPCheats=Enabled 2
Then, press ~ or [Tab] during game play to display the console window. Enter one
of the following codes to activate the cheat function. Note: Some codes such as
summon and avatar have been disabled in later versions of the game.

1. Requires the v1.9 patch.
2. Your newly chosen class will be announced to all players on the server unless
the mpcheat silentclass code is used.
3. Only available in certain older versions of the game.

Sniper View On All Weapons:
---------------------------
NOTE: You must be in a server that is running cheats to do this trick.
Type "mpcheat changeclass" at the console window then go into scopemode with the
sniper rifle. While using the scope's view type mpcheat changeclass. You will
change to the gun you selected and still be in scope view.
Unlimited Ammo:
---------------
Here is another cheat for unlimited ammo: mpcheat paramsammo 1.
Invincibility:
--------------
If you want to be completely invulnerable to enemy attacks, try the following. Press
the tilde (~) key to bring up the cheats console, and insert “mpcheat god” (minus the
quotes). If inserted correctly, you will become invincible to enemy attacks.
Easter Egg: Prison Goodies:
---------------------------
Start the game with cheats enabled and send yourself to the Leavenworth prison by
committing an ROE offence. Use the mpcheat ghost code to look around the other cells
for some easter eggs set-up by the dev team. This is for version 2.5 of the game.
Customizing the game:
---------------------
Use a text editor to edit the files in the directory:
"/Program Files/America's Army/System/descriptions".
For example, change:
"Name: Trijicon ACOG Reflex Sight Function: " to "Name: Trijicon ACOP
IS TRYING TO Function: " then attempt to save it. A number of errors will appear.
Click "Okay", then right-click the file you are trying to overwrite (for example,
"MOD_Acog_Reflex", and go to "Properties". You will see a box on the bottom labeled
"Read-Only File". Un-check that box, and you will be able to save over it.
Then go in-game, go to modifications, select what you modified, and read it to
see your modification.
Queensryche reference:
----------------------
In the medic training in the hospital, there is a reference from Queensryche's album
Operation: Mindcrime. Listen to the doctors being paged. You will hear "Dr. Davis,
telephone please. Dr. Davis, telephone please." then you will hear "Dr. Blair, Dr.
Blair, Dr. J. Hamilton, Dr. J. Hamiliton". You can hear these exact same pages in
the first and last tracks of Operation: Mindcrime, when the character the album is
about, Nikki, is in the hospital under observation by authorities.
Talking corpses:
----------------
When you load the map and are in the hospital, enable any mpcheat code to get any
gun. Go to the nurses station where the two nurses are talking. Shoot either one of
them. They will fall on the ground and appear dead. The option to talk to them will
still appear. Press [Use] to talk to them. Look at their face, and it will move,
their mouth will open, and you will hear them talk.

folder in the game folder. Locate the line:

and replace it with:

Change marksmanship score:
--------------------------
Use a text editor to edit the file with your profile name in the "\system\save"
folder in the game folder.
The last number (37) in this example line corresponds to your marksmanship score:

You can change it to the following for a score of 37
and be allowed to do advanced marksmanship training:

This can be edited again if needed to a higher number (below 40) to get to the
second level of it.
Complete all training and get all maps:

Use a text editor to edit the file with your profile name in the "\system\save"
folder in the game folder.
Replace the current entry of the file with:

You can now go to SF pipeline and go to any training mission.
Note: You will have to repeat this if you log into the server, as it will reset
